An applicant must meet the party’s membership criteria, be willing to uphold the party’s constitution, principles, values, and code of conduct, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to public service and national development. Applicants must also satisfy the mandatory age and identification requirements specified by the party.
Yes. The minimum age requirement is 18 years. Applicants must be 18 years of age or above at the time of applying for membership and must meet all other applicable membership requirements.
Yes. A valid Voter ID is mandatory for membership. It is required as part of the party’s membership verification process and helps establish the applicant’s eligibility as a registered voter.
No. Previous political experience is not required. We believe that sincere and capable citizens from every profession and background can contribute to public life. There is no single fixed number of hours applicable to every member. We understand that our members may be students, professionals, business owners, homemakers, or retired individuals with different responsibilities.
However, membership should represent a genuine willingness to contribute. The level of participation may depend on your role, availability, responsibilities, and involvement within the organisation. Active members and office-bearers may have additional responsibilities and time commitments.
Party membership itself is free. However, as part of the membership process, an applicant may be required to sign and submit a membership affidavit before a Notary Officer.
The applicant will be responsible for the notarisation and affidavit-related expenses, which may be approximately ₹300-500 per person, depending on the applicable charges. This amount is not a membership fee or payment to the party; it is the cost associated with preparing and notarising the required affidavit.
There should be no additional or unofficial payment required for obtaining party membership.
Yes. Students, working professionals, entrepreneurs, homemakers, women, retired persons, and other eligible citizens can apply for membership.
